A young Manhattan waitress, walking her dog at dawn yesterday along Central Park, was attacked, robbed and sexually assaulted by two teens, police said.
Victor Pastore, 15, was arrested within an hour by police who spotted him sitting on a rock near the crime scene with the victim’s money, keys and a credit card, police said.
Pastore was charged as an adult with robbery, attempted assault and aggravated sexual abuse.
A second man, aged between 18 and 20, was being questioned last night.
The 23-year-old victim managed to bite one of her attackers and fight them off.
Authorities said the attack occurred after the woman arrived home from work and took her dog out for a walk.
She was walking the mixed-breed Akita-shepherd along Central Park West near 96th Street when two thugs came up behind her, taunted her and then grabbed her and threw her to the ground.
One attacker, who tried to cover her mouth, was bitten while his partner began to sexually abuse her. The two fled when she began to scream and ask for help from passers-by at the nearby subway entrance.
A description of the younger attacker led to his arrest by cops canvassing the area.
“It was good, old-fashioned, quick police work,” a law-enforcement official said.
