Cops in Brooklyn freed a 4-year-old boy who got trapped in a safe while playing with his younger brother yesterday – but the case might end with someone else locked up.
That’s because inside the safe, cops said, was some apparent contraband – a sawed-off shotgun, a zip gun and some drug paraphernalia.
Leo Peconio spent a half-hour inside a safe in his parents’ home on East 55th Street in the Mill Basin section.
Little Leo was in good health, cops said. His parents were being questioned last night about the guns and the drug-related items.
