COPS PUT FACE ON SICKO STALKING QNS. MOMS

Police released a sketch yesterday of the scar-faced attacker who has been terrorizing mothers in Queens by pointing a gun at their tots’ heads while demanding money and jewelry.

The desperado is described as a black man about 25 years old, 5-foot-6 and weighing 140 pounds.

He has a deep scar on his right cheek and a small goatee. He wore a red bandanna and a black, waist-length jacket and black sneakers when he attacked three women with their children in Forest Hills and Richmond Hill.

The latest robbery occurred Wednesday afternoon when he accosted a mother holding her 2-year-old daughter while they were alone in a J-train subway car.

The brown-eyed girl had been playing with her hair and singing her ABCs when the thug started swaying in front of her and her mother, police said.

When the mother looked up, the gunman dragged her by the hair through the subway car, smacking her and threatening her daughter.

“I’ll blow her brains out,” he said.

He then stole some of the woman’s jewelry, pressed the gun to her baby’s temple and said: “Close your eyes and pray this is your lucky day.”

The feisty woman, a doctor’s assistant, told the gunman to shoot her instead of her child and then challenged him to point his weapon at “someone who can defend themself.”

The gunman punched her in the face while the daughter hid behind her mother, police said.

The mother handed over the rest of her jewelry and her wallet and the robber fled, saying it was “your lucky day.”

Lt. James McGuire, head of the Queens robbery detail, described the assailant as dangerous and said it was “lucky” no one has been more seriously injured thus far.
