A Manhattan judge who rammed two parked cars with her Rolls-Royce was busted on a DWI charge, police said yesterday.
State Supreme Court Justice Donna Mills slurred her words, and her breath smelled enough of alcohol to get officers’ attention after the July 23 smash-up in Riverdale section of The Bronx, police said.
Mills’ 1979 Rolls-Royce slammed into the two cars in the parking lot of Loehmann’s department store on West 237th Street at about 8 a.m., cops said.
The judge refused to take a Breathalyzer test, said cops. Nobody was hurt in the accident.
Mills, a Democrat who lives in The Bronx, was a member of the state parole board and also served as a Bronx Civil Court judge.
Her husband, William Low, was once chief of staff to former State Sen. Larry Seabrook, who is now a city councilman.
Mills made headlines in 1990 by filing a paternity suit in Bronx Family Court against another sitting judge, Frederick Sampson.
She charged that Sampson, a Queens Civil Court judge, was the father of her 11-year-old daughter.
Mills refused to publicly discuss the case at the time, noting that Family Court cases are confidential. The outcome of the case is still not clear.
