A fingerprint of one of the sniper suspects was found at the scene of a Montgomery, Ala., liquor store robbery and shooting – on a magazine about weapons, authorities said.
And a police sketch of the man wanted in the liquor store holdup – in which one woman was killed and another seriously wounded – has “some very good similarities” to one of the owner of the print, according to Montgomery Police Chief John Wilson
The print belongs to John Lee Malvo, who was nabbed in Maryland yesterday along with his stepfather John Allen Muhammad, Wilson said.
But Wilson warned the gun used in the Alabama case was not the same gun the pair allegedly used to terrorize the Washington, D.C., region.
