MANHATTAN
* The bomb squad answered a call inside Grand Central Station at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday after an emotionally disturbed man said he had a bomb. Emergency Service cops took the man – who had wired himself to a cylinder – outside. They threw a bomb blanket on top of him, cut his clothing off and determined he had no explosives on him. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for psychological evaluation.
* A teenage boy, on his way to a party in a Harlem apartment, was knifed in the building’s lobby yesterday at 3:15 a.m. Nelson Polamco, 18, saw a large group approach him from behind while he was inside the building on Amsterdam Avenue. Polamco felt a punch in the back and realized he’d been stabbed. He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition.
THE BRONX
* A husband and wife were arrested on Saturday night for assaulting each other, police said yesterday. Ashquo Eme called cops at 8:03 p.m. to say her husband, Nixon Omotayo, 52, a fraud investigator for the city Department of Finance, was beating her in their East 181st Street apartment. When police arrived, Eme said Omotayo assaulted her, causing bruises and swelling to her face, neck and chest. Omotayo said Eme bit him on the chest.
* A 21-year-old man was stabbed in a dispute inside an East 137th Street apartment yesterday. Luis Maldonado was taken to Lincoln Hospital with injuries that were deemed not life-threatening. No arrests have been made.
* A 25-year-old man was slashed across the neck during a dispute with four to six men on Valentine Avenue early yesterday. Joseph Garrett was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
BROOKLYN
* A 26-year-old Brighton Beach super was arrested for allegedly spitting and drawing two swastikas on a neighbor’s door. Daniel Zerafa was busted a few hours after a 29-year-old tenant discovered the saliva and symbols on the entrance to his Ocean Parkway apartment at around 11 a.m. on Saturday. Cops said Zerafa and the man were “involved in an ongoing dispute.” Zerafa, who cops said admitted to spitting on the door but not drawing the swastikas, was charged with aggravated harassment and criminal mischief.
QUEENS
* A 33-year-old man was shot in the leg yesterday morning in Astoria. He was driven to Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens by a friend. Cops said Gardner Tracey’s wounds were not life-threatening. They were investigating whether the shooting was related to a 12:55 a.m. call of shots fired in the courtyard of the Astoria Houses. Police responded to the call but didn’t find anyone injured at the scene, they said.
