Philanthropist Sale Johnson is appealing for help finding a 14-year-old girl who disappeared three weeks ago in Brooklyn.
The missing teen, Joevanie Gardener, is the granddaughter of Johnson’s long-time employee Marita Ebanks.
“We want her to call us. We want to know she’s OK. She’s the sweetest girl,” said Johnson, the ex-wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson. “I’m concerned that she doesn’t have her medications with her. “
Speaking directly to Joevanie, whom she watched grow up, Johnson said she and her daughter Jaime are “very worried that you’re all right and we want you to come home. Please call home.”
She also urged anyone with information to call (646) 739-0144.
The teen lives with her mother, Gillian Gardener, and sister in Flatbush.
The teen, who is 5-foot-7, 195 pounds, was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white striped shirt and a black raincoat.
