A former employee at a Salvation Army-run school was arrested yesterday for allegedly having a four-month affair with a 14-year-old student.
Scott Frazier, 32, was charged with 20 counts of rape and endangering the welfare of a minor – while on parole for a drug conviction.
Investigators said Frazier was hired as an aide in 2001 by the Wayside School for Girls in Elmont, L.I, which serves about 75 girls under 16 placed there by the city’s Administration for Children’s Services.
Frazier and the teenage student began a consensual affair that lasted four months, ending early this year, probers said.
Investigators believe Frazier took the girl from the Nassau facility to his Queens home for sex.
He should have been fingerprinted when he was hired, but managed to avoid it, apparently because he did not want to disclose his record.
Frazier had served four years for drug possession and sale, and was on parole until 2006.
