LOS ANGELES – A Hollywood stuntwoman sued California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and campaign aides yesterday, claiming they smeared her with a “calculated act of character assassination.”
Rhonda Miller’s lawsuit stems from a politically charged battle she had with then-candidate Schwarzenegger on Oct. 6, the day before The Terminator’s sweeping Total Recall win on Oct. 7.
Miller claimed Schwarzenegger groped her breasts while they filmed “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” in 1991, and that he copped another feel while shooting “True Lies” in 1994.
Hours after that election-eve bombshell, Schwarzenegger’s campaign hit back hard with an e-mail memo to journalists covering the race, strongly suggesting that Miller had no credibility as a convicted prostitute.
That counterpunch infuriated Miller, who claims Schwarzenegger and his team sent that e-mail even though they allegedly knew she wasn’t a hooker.
Schwarzenegger was not immediately available for comment.
