A Brooklyn man is on the lam today after shooting a 23-year-old woman who refused to play Russian roulette with him, police said.
Police identified the killer as Allan Murphy and described him as a 28-year- old, 5-foot-10, 200-pound black man.
The shooting occurred at 4:30 a.m. yesterday in Murphy’s Bushwick apartment after he, the victim and her friend partied, cops said.
Murphy, a hairdresser, had spent the earlier part of the evening with his girlfriend, police said. But sometime after 10 p.m., he hooked up with the other two women.
The trio ended up at Murphy’s Cornelia Street apartment, where he showed off his .38 revolver and a .22 pistol and taunted one of the women to play Russian roulette, cops said.
When she refused, he allegedly spun the chamber and fired a bullet into her head, killing her.
It was not known if the chamber was full.
Murphy then offered the victim’s friend thousands of dollars if she’d dispose of the gun and keep quiet, police said. Instead, she went to cops.
The victim’s name has been withheld pending positive identification.
