A Detroit cop being treated for a knee injury at a hospital emergency room hobbled into action when he spotted another patient swiping a watch from the wrist of an unconscious man.
Officer James Lant, 59, watched as Tyrone Allen allegedly shook the man to see if he was awake, tore off his watch, stuffed it in his pants and rolled over to pretend he was sleeping.
“It was so smooth,” said Lant, who busted Allen seconds later.

Couples in Colombia are lining up to touch the nipples of the statue of a naked woman in the hope it will help their relationships – so much so that the figure’s breasts have been damaged.
The sculpture is of a curvaceous woman named Getrudis, who residents of Cartagena say can bless them with long, happy unions.
Famed artist Fernando Botero, who created it, said, “It’s amazing to hear the breasts have had to be repaired many times because they’re being worn out.”

Cops in Germany saw right through a teen burglar – after he left X-rays of himself at the scene of the crime.
The crook had just left a Berlin hospital carrying X-rays of his broken arm when he entered the home of an 80-year-old woman and stole $30,000. But in his haste, he left behind the X-rays, which contained his name and address. Busted!
