A brawl between two girls spilled out in front of Beach Channel HS in Rockaway yesterday and escalated into a Mace-fueled fight involving seven young women, police said.
When order was restored, cops arrested two students and five other girls on a variety of charges, including possession of Mace, disorderly conduct, harassment and trespassing.
At around 12:40 p.m., two female students at the school began fighting in front of the building, police said.
The dispute quickly escalated, with five other girls joining the fray, sources said.
One of them, Shanatea Martin, 18, allegedly discharged a canister of Mace that she had, police said.
Two of the girls arrested – Martin and Tiesha Price, 18 – were taken to Queens Criminal Court to face arraignment on the charges because they were wanted on an earlier criminal summons.
Three of the girls were released after being given misdemeanor summonses, and two others had their cases referred to Family Court because they are under 16, sources said. (p. 7 Sports)
