NYPD DAILY BLOTTER

MANHATTAN

* A man impersonating a sanitation police officer cleared the way for two thieves (above) to rob a trendy Washington Heights restaurant earlier this month, cops said.

Authorities said the phony cop walked into the Hispaniola restaurant on West 181st Street at around 8:30 a.m. on May 8, and asked an employee about how the eatery disposes of its garbage.

The imposter lured the employee outside to examine the trash area so that his two partners in crime could get inside undetected.

The two thieves made their way to the second floor, where they stole money that was kept in a filing cabinet.

An employee spotted the two as they fled.

THE BRONX

* A Kingsbridge dialysis patient, Lydia Frazier (above), has been missing for more than two months, and her family is looking for help in finding her.

Frazier, 46, was last seen by her 24-year-old son at around 10 p.m., on March 12, when she left the apartment the two share to visit her boyfriend, according to her daughter, Correen Holland.

“I miss my mother dearly,” she said. When she missed my birthday on May 6, I was in hysterics. Then on Mother’s Day, May 9 – it was so hard for me recognize these two occasions without the one person who has been there to celebrate these days with me for the past 27 years.”

Frazier received dialysis treatment three times a week prior to her disappearance, said Holland, the oldest of her three children.

* Police are investigating the death of a woman whose lifeless body was found in a Tremont motel.

The 43-year-old woman was discovered inside the Concourse Grand Residential Hotel at 2327 Grand Concourse at 11:40 p.m. on Sunday night, cops sad.

According to authorities, she was lying in bed and appears to have died from natural causes.

But the exact cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office after an autopsy is performed.

STATEN ISLAND

* Police are looking for a missing Staten Island cop who hasn’t been seen in three days.

Sources said the 36-year-old officer, who was not identified, was last seen Saturday afternoon when he told his wife he was leaving for work. He never reported for his shift at the 120th Precinct station house in St. George.

The missing officer has a year-old child and lives on Staten Island.

Cops in helicopters were searching the borough for his car.

BROOKLYN

The victim was hit once in the left shoulder on Vermont Street at 9:20 p.m. Saturday, the sources said.

After he was injured, the victim stumbled about 10 blocks to Miller Avenue, where he was found. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The triggerman remains at large.
