A Manhattan man, accused of fatally shooting another man yesterday, was grabbed by fast-acting cops just minutes after he fled the scene, police said.
The suspect, Anthony Torrecilla, 22, got into a heated argument with Scott Ragland, 35, outside 439 W. 125th St. at around 5 a.m., cops said.
The dispute escalated and Torrecilla allegedly drew a gun and shot Ragland in the head.
Cops were called and got a description of the suspect. About 15 minutes later, police saw Torrecilla at West 126th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard and promptly busted him on murder and weapons charges.
Police said Torrecilla, who lives on Convent Avenue, has three prior arrests, including for reckless endangerment and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
