THE BRONX
* Police yesterday said two brothers gunned down a Bronx man during a dispute last month on Valentine Avenue.
Davel Ramos (above left), 27 and Anthony Ramos (above right), 30, were seen fleeing after the shooting August 29, authorities said. The brothers fled in a black Lincoln Navigator with Delaware license plates.
Police described Davel Ramos as about six-feet tall, weighing 175 pounds and at the time of the shooting wearing long, braided hair. Anthony Ramos is about five-foot, ten-inches tall with black, close-shaved hair. (lcf)
* A 16-year-old boy was shot near Bronx Park after an earlier argument with the alleged shooter, authorities said yesterday.
The victim was shot three times at Bronx Park East near Maran Place about 4 p.m. Tuesday, sources said. He was listed in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital.
BROOKLYN
* A Midwood woman has been arrested for attacking her elderly neighbor in a dispute over their property line, authorities said yesterday.
Sources said the 80-year-old victim wanted to put up a fence between his East 26th Street home from the residence of suspect Shelly Mishan, 51.
But Mishan’s husband placed iron construction horses on the property line, preventing the victim from erecting the fence.
When cops responded there on Monday, they ordered Mishan’s husband to take away the construction horses and he complied, sources said.
On Tuesday, the victim was snapping photos to show the removal of the horses when he was confronted by Mishan, who kneed him in the crotch, sources said.
Mishan then allegedly scratched the victim’s forearms and chest and took the camera.
* A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Cypress Hills intersection, authorities said yesterday.
The incident began at 3 a.m. Tuesday, when Karim Smith, 20, and two gun-toting accomplices allegedly drove up to a Chevrolet truck stopped at a red light at Belmont Avenue and Crescent Street, sources said.
The driver of the Chevy heard a gun blast and turned to see that his passenger had been shot in the stomach.
The suspects fled and the gunshot victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital.
Later that day, Smith walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand and claimed he had been shot during an attempted robbery.
Police arrested Smith after the Chevy’s driver ID’d him in a photo array.
STATEN ISLAND
* Two teenagers were arrested in Tottenville for shooting out a car’s window, police sources said yesterday.
Joseph Barone, 17, and Dharmendra Hiralal, 18, were driving in a 2005 Chevy van aside the targeted car near Hylan Boulevard and Sprague Avenue at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, the sources said.
At least one of the teens brandished an air rifle and shot out the car’s rear window.
When cops arrested them, the teens were in possession of a small quantity of marijuana, sources said.
* Two drug suspects were caught with a crack on a Port Richmond street, cops said yesterday.
Police saw Khalil Sancarlos, 25, and Andrew Franco, 19, were arrested near Treadwell and Castleton avenues about 11:55 p.m. Tuesday.
* An intoxicated man was arrested for exposing himself on a Heartland Village street.
Police caught Thomas Gualtieri, 42, urinating at Merry Mount Street and Travis Avenue at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.
QUEENS
* A Jamaica grandmother was arrested yesterday for stabbing her grandson in a dispute over money, police said.
The violence began around 11:25 a.m. on 164th Street when Bernie Gibbs, 18, accused his grandmother of making withdrawals from his bank account.
Gibbs said that when he began throwing his grandmother’s belongings out the door, she stuck him with an object, cutting his finger.
