GUN DROPOFF IN GRID SLAY

The gun suspected of being used to kill Mark Fisher was wrapped in a T-shirt, placed on a street corner and then scooped up by someone who replaced the alleged murder weapon with a wad of cash.

That’s the shady transaction Anthony Bahari, a reputed member of John Guica’s Ghetto Mafia, said took place just hours after the Fairfield University football player was gunned down on a Brooklyn street.

“Can you come by my house?” Bahari said he was asked by Guica – accused of handing over the .22-caliber gun used to kill Fisher. “I need you to give something to somebody.”

Bahari testified yesterday that he then drove over to Guica’s Stratford Road home just hours after the Oct. 12, 2003, shooting and was handed a gun bag.

He threw it in the trunk, drove off and left it alone until curiosity got the better of him. “I picked it up and looked at it,” he said. “After that I went inside, grabbed a T-shirt, and wiped it off.”

Bahari said he then called Guica and told him, “I don’t want to hand it off directly.” He wrapped the gun up and left it on the corner of Stratford and Beverly Roads, where he placed it on the pavement.

Eventually an unidentified man pulled up in another car, picked up the wrapped package and replaced it with an undisclosed amount of cash.

“I told [John], ‘I have the money for you,’ and he said, ‘Just hold on to it,’ ” Bahari said. He said Guica came and picked up the money the next day.

Bahari also testified about a visit he made to Rikers Island last December to see Antonio Russo – accused of shooting Fisher, 19, five times after an after-hours bash at Guica’s house – where he made a hand signal in the shape of a gun and asked: “Did you take care of that?”

An admitted member of the Ghetto Mafia was also called in to testify that Russo had said that “he shot somebody.”

Gregory Ware, who is serving seven years for attempted murder, said Russo claimed that he didn’t even know the person he had shot.

“He said he tried to rob the kid [Fisher],” said Ware, who had earlier identified Guica as one the gang’s leaders.

“The kid charged at him and he shot him,” said Ware.
