*** Police yesterday were searching for a mentally challenged man who disappeared from his Sheepshead Bay home.
Duron Leeboo, 21 (above), was last seen leaving his Avenue W residence at Nostrand Avenue between 1:30 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. on Sept. 14, cops said.
Leeboo’s mother reported him missing to police about 5 p.m. Monday.
He stands 5-foot-9, weighs 125 pounds and has short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and white Nike sneakers.
*** Two workers were arrested for attacking each other in Kings County Hospital, authorities said yesterday.
John Smith, 59, and Warren Maynard, 47, were arrested Monday on charges of assault and menacing.
According to Smith, he argued with Maynard in the food service center of the hospital after Maynard took back a scouring brush he was using.
Maynard allegedly shoved Smith and hit him near the eye with the brush. Maynard told authorities Smith pushed him, and he shoved Smith back. He also claimed Smith slugged him, and he punched Smith back.
Smith suffered a cut near his right eye area and received stitches. Maynard had dental pain and swelling around his mouth.
*** A man was arrested for slapping his ex-girlfriend and threatening to set her on fire after she claimed she was seeing someone else, authorities said yesterday.
Sources said Ivan Vasquez, 25, exchanged words with his ex-girlfriend at her Greene Avenue residence about 11:10 a.m. Monday.
Vasquez allegedly grabbed the woman and smacked her in the face.
He then picked up a gasoline tank and threatened to burn the woman, cops said.
Vasquez tried to pour gasoline on her, but the woman had put a lock on the tank.
After the woman called 911, police arrested Vasquez, who was charged with attempted assault and menacing.
*** A young man was fatally shot in Flatbush, police said yesterday.
Roberto Alexander, 21, was confronted by thugs at Rogers Avenue near Lenox Road at 10:40 p.m. Monday, cops said.
After pushing him up against a fence, one of the gang pulled a gun and shot Alexander in the neck.
Alexander was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he died.
MANHATTAN
*** A thief made off with about $700 after threatening to shoot a teller in a Midtown bank, cops said yesterday.
The unidentified man walked inside the Wachovia branch on Sixth Avenue near West 54th Street about 12:50 p.m. Monday.
He demanded cash from the teller and threatened to shoot her, but never displayed a weapon.
*** A man was shot and critically injured during an attack on a Hamilton Heights street that left a bystander wounded, police said yesterday.
Hassan Turner, 33, who was believed to be the intended target, was on West 148th Street near Amsterdam Avenue about 8:20 p.m. Monday, when at least one gunman opened fire, hitting him several times, sources said.
Turner was rushed to Harlem Hospital, where he was fighting for his life.
Keith Richardson, 48, was shot in the right arm as he was walking nearby, the sources said.
Richardson was in stable condition at the same hospital.
THE BRONX
*** A man was shot dead yesterday on an Allerton street, cops said.
The 43-year-old man had just left his home to go to a store at Cruger and Arnow avenues about 2 a.m., when someone approached from behind brandishing a gun.
The thug then opened fire, hitting the man four times.
The victim, whose name was not released pending family notification, died at the scene.
