The judge overseeing the city’s transit case was named yesterday to head Brooklyn’s civil court.
Judge Theodore Jones is to take over as administrative judge, a post created when Brooklyn’s Criminal Court moved to a new building.
Judge Neil Firetog, who had overseen both, will still preside over the Criminal Court.
Jones, a St. John’s Law School grad, will continue to deal with the strike’s legal fallout when the sides return to court Jan. 20.
