MANHATTAN
*** Police are looking for this man (above) in connection with an ATM robbery in Midtown last month.
The suspect approached the victim inside a Chase Manhattan ATM kiosk at 1120 Sixth Ave. at 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 17, simulated a gun and demanded the man hand over cash.
The victim complied. Police declined to say how much was stolen.
The thief is a black man between 30 and 40 years old, 5-foot 11 and about 175 pounds.
He was wearing glasses, tan pants, a dark hooded sweatshirt and an oversized cross on a chain around his neck.
*** A note-passing thief held up a Gramercy Park bank, police said yesterday.
The suspect walked into a Bank of America branch at 116 Fifth Ave. at 8:14 a.m. on Thursday and slipped a teller a demand note, cops said.
The bank employee forked over cash. Police declined to reveal how much money was taken.
THE BRONX
*** Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a Melrose teen who disappeared more than two months ago.
Lisa Morrison (above), 14, was last seen at her house at 3204 Park Ave. at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 31, cops said.
Morrison is 5-foot-3, 120 pounds, with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes, authorities said.
*** Police have identified the man whose hacked-up remains were found by a homeless man rummaging through garbage in Kingsbridge two weeks ago.
Fifty-year-old Jorge Valdez’s torso and leg were discovered stuffed into a black suitcase in a trash heap at West 262nd Street and Broadway at 1:15 a.m. on Dec. 24, cops said.
Valdez, of 2840 Bailey Ave., was fatally stabbed in the chest with heart and lung injuries, a spokeswoman for the Medical Examiner’s Office said.
According to police sources, Valdez may have been killed over a drug deal.
There are no known suspects. It was not clear if the rest of his remains have been found.
*** An 18-year-old man was clinging to life yesterday after he was shot in front of a Highbridge building, police said.
The victim, whose name was not released, was gunned down in front of 1068 Grant Ave. at 5:28 a.m., cops said.
He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said.
Police sources described the crime scene as a known drug spot and said investigators believe the gunplay was narcotics-related.
BROOKLYN
*** A 44-year-old man was found dead in his Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment after one of his neighbors tried to torch the building, authorities said yesterday.
The dead man, whose name was not released, was discovered inside 14-A Monroe St. at 7:05 a.m. on Thursday, cops said.
According to law-enforcement sources, the deceased was an innocent victim who unwittingly got caught up in the wrath of one of his neighbors, who apparently tried to burn the building after arguing with another resident.
The suspect threw a flammable liquid, ignited it and fled. He remains at large.
It was not clear yesterday if the dead man was killed by the smoke from the fire or various ailments from which he suffered.
A spokeswoman for the Medical Examiner’s Office said a determination of the cause of death was pending.
