Grant gone Friday WOR’s Bob Grant made official yesterday what The Post’s John Mainelli re ported exclusively Dec. 14 – that he’s leaving the station this Friday. “Effective at 6:00 on Friday when I sign off, it will be my last time signing off at this great radio sta tion,” Grant, 76, said yester day. Grant’s options include satellite radio, says Mainelli.

Kevin Bacon and his band, the Bacon Brothers Band (which includes his brother, Michael Bacon) will be fea tured Jan. 11 on the premiere episode of “Guitar Xpress Presents,” the new on- demand se ries airing on Mag Rack. The episode fea tures the Bacon Brothers in a session at Gibson Guitar’s Hit Factory Studios, and Kevin speaks about his own musical influ ences. Upcoming “Guitar Xpress” episodes will feature Les Paul and Trey Anastasio. * * *
DVD recommendation: “Sat urday Night Live: The Best of Alec Baldwin.” Say what you will about Alec Baldwin – who inspires passionate feel ings on both sides of the aisle – but he’s one funny guy. Among the highlights: Bal dwin’s classic “Pete Schwetty” skit from the ’90s and a more recent sketch in which Baldwin plays Prince Charles’ press secretary.
Elsewhere at NBC, Alex Wallace, former senior pro ducer of “Today,” was named vice president of NBC News.
