‘MR. MOM’ IS A KILLER, DA CLAIMS

A Rockland County man recruited killers to rub out two enemies of one of the city’s most notorious drug dealers, prosecutors said yesterday.

Emanuel Mosley – described by a defense lawyer as a lovable “Mr. Mom” – is charged with murder for having allegedly found the hit men who whacked foes of reputed narcotics kingpin Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff, including an aspiring rapper named E. Money Bags.

“McGriff wanted these two people dead, so he went to Mr. Mosley for help,” prosecutor Carolyn Pokorny said.

Brooklyn federal Magistrate Joan Azrack turned down a request from Mosley, who grew up in Harlem, that he be freed on bail to spend time with his infant daughter.

With his wife, Rochelle, running Salon 804, a Harlem beauty salon featured on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show, Mosley bore the brunt of parenting responsibilities for their little girl, lawyer Paul Brenner said.

“Taking care of the baby, changing diapers – Mr. Mom, so to speak,” Brenner said. “His baby already misses him.”

But Azrack said, “What you describe is a person who lives a storybook life. There couldn’t be any more serious charges than what he’s charged with.

“To me, it’s not even close,” she said, ordering that Mosley remain behind bars until his trial begins in April for the murder of E. Money Bags, whose real name was Eric Smith, and drug dealer Troy Singleton.
