A beautiful radio personality has described for the first time her horror of being stalked by a crazed fan who tried to woo her with odd gifts – before sending her a sample of his semen and asking her to bear his child.
Gloria Broussard, 37, who is known as “Gloria B” on Spanish language station WPAT 93.1 “Amor FM,” shared the sordid details of her nine-month ordeal. It began with innocuous presents, which were delivered to the station’s Midtown offices, allegedly by Gary Wingeier, 58.
At first, the items seemed to be harmless offerings to a woman whose voice and smoldering Latin looks left Wingeier smitten.
“The first couple of times, he would send me harmonicas, big red prayer candles, rosaries,” she told The Post. “I didn’t think anything of it.”
But the unsolicited tributes grew increasingly weird.
They included office supplies, bottles of soda, bags of sugar, chewing tobacco, 20 transistor radios, Wingeier’s military ID card, and finally, a vial of his semen.
The gifts came with unintelligible notes and receipts indicating how much he had spent.
Wingeier, who is being held without bail, was arrested at a Bowery halfway house and charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree and harassment in the first degree.
