A very expectant and happy Angelina Jolie relaxes with her hunky husband-to-be, Brad Pitt, and year-old daughter, Zahara, in a beautiful panoramic photo shot during an outing in the Namibian desert.
The three, along with son Maddox, 4, are very much a family – in fact, they’re named “The World’s Most Beautiful Family” by People magazine in this week’s “100 Most Beautiful” issue, out tomorrow.
Brangelina left their luxury resort retreat in Namibia to motor into the desert to pose for the issue, which features Jolie on the cover.
The dazzling duo and their two youngsters have been in the African nation awaiting the birth of the first joint Jolie-Pitt production – saying little about when and what they’re expecting.
But Jolie, 30, broke her silence about her relationship with Pitt, 42, and her “full life” in an interview with NBC’s Ann Curry, an excerpt of which was to be aired on the “Today” show this morning. The full interview airs on Sunday’s “Dateline” news magazine show.
In the interview, Jolie reveals that – despite reports to the contrary – she is less than eight months pregnant.
And while she said she knows the sex of her baby, she won’t divulge it.
Jolie said she finds the public’s curiosity about her relationship with Pitt “just kind of funny,” noting that it makes her “giggle.”
“I don’t talk about our, my, relationship in public,” she said. “But we also don’t talk about it at home.
“You know, it’s one of those funny things that, like, just happens, and you live your life and you’re a family, but you never actually discuss.”
She later added, “It’s just kind of funny, you know, when you’re naturally just together and living your life.
“So that’s why I giggle about it. Because if he [Pitt] saw this and somebody asked, you know, relationship questions, he would probably understand why I was laughing – ’cause I just don’t know how to address that kind of thing.”
Jolie was more articulate when it came to discussing her kids and her new cause – working to ensure that children everywhere can get an education.
Of her children, she said, “I look at them and I just think … especially my daughter … there’s no possible way she would have gone to school … She is so smart and so strong. And her potential as a woman one day is great.
“Hopefully … she will be active in her country [Ethiopia] and in her continent when she’s older. And because she’ll have a good education, she’ll be able to do that much more.”
Of her son, the pouty-lipped beauty said she revels in “just how he adjusts to different places in the world and different people and his views and the kind of man he’s gonna be.”
“I’m very lucky,” she said.
