Three more Egyptian students who were part of a group that disappeared in New York last month were apprehended yesterday, leaving five of their classmates still at large, authorities said.
Federal agencies now have in custody six out of the 11 Egyptians who disappeared en route to a Montana university.
The students were among a group of 17 students from Mansoura University who arrived at Kennedy Airport July 29 en route to Montana State University to participate in a month-long cultural-exchange program.
Only six students arrived at MSU. The other 11 disappeared, prompting federal authorities to revoke their student visas and issue a nationwide alert for cops to be on the lookout and hold them for questioning.
