The judge in a Long Island DWI murder case yesterday ordered the jury sequestered after it failed to reach a verdict against Martin Heidgen, who was allegedly drunk when he drove the wrong way on a highway and killed a wedding chauffeur and a 7-year-old flower girl.
Prosecutors say Heidgen, 25, of Valley Stream, showed a “depraved indifference to human life” by ignoring other drivers’ warnings.
