THE BRONX
* Police are asking for help in finding this suspect (above) in connection with a homicide in Williamsbridge last May, authorities said yesterday.
Shawn Morrison, 24, is wanted for the murder of Brian Cuffy, who was shot three times on May 3 while sitting on a milk crate in a parking lot at White Plains Road and East 222nd Street, police said.
Paramedics declared the 24-year-old dead at the scene and treated a 6-year-old girl who was struck by a shell casing.
Police believe that Morrison and the victim had had a long-running dispute.
Morrison, whose last known address is just blocks from the shooting, is 6-foot-4 and has light-brown braids and brown eyes, police said.
BROOKLYN
* A man was found with his throat slashed early yesterday in South Brooklyn, authorities said.
The 20-year-old, who was not identified, was found lying on the sidewalk at Hamilton and Second avenues at 4:44 a.m., sources said.
* A man stabbed an acquaintance in the stomach during a game of mah-jongg in a Sunset Park gambling den, authorities said yesterday.
Shan Chen, 40, argued with the 43-year-old victim over money while gambling inside an apartment at Eighth Avenue and 51st Street at about 9 p.m. Saturday, sources said.
Suddenly, Chen pulled a knife and drove it into the man’s torso, puncturing his liver, lung and large intestine, sources said.
After the alleged stabbing Chen fled, but the victim’s brother gave police Chen’s cellphone number and the cops called him.
The next day, Chen surrendered at the 72nd Precinct station house. He is charged with assault, menacing, harassment and weapon possession.
The victim underwent surgery at the Lutheran Medical Center, where he was listed last night in stable condition.
QUEENS

* A gunman critically wounded a man after accosting him on a Saint Albans street, police said yesterday.
The unidentified suspect attacked his victim at 193rd Street near 118th Avenue at 5:40 p.m. Sunday when he pulled a gun and opened fire, cops said.
The victim, whose name and age were not immediately available, was rushed to Mary Immaculate Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition last night.
STATEN ISLAND
* A man was arrested after he went to reclaim his lost wallet – which held a fake police-identification card and shield – from a precinct in St. George, investigators said.
Walter Clemens, 56, had left his wallet at a grocery store at Richmond Terrace and Wall Street on Friday afternoon, cops said.
A clerk at the store handed in the wallet to cops.
After retracing his steps and asking about the wallet at the shop, Clemens went to the nearby 120th Precinct where he claimed to be a former cop.
Police had already found out that he had never retired – but had instead been discharged in 1995 – and arrested him.
Clemens was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, said a spokesperson for District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
* One of New York’s Strongest was injured while doing maintenance at a sanitation department facility near the Fresh Kills Landfill, officials said yesterday.
John Reha, 52, a metal mechanic, was working on a broken rock-crushing machine at 310 W.
Service Rd., near Victory Boulevard, just before 2 p.m. when he fell 10 feet and suffered a broken leg, police and sanitation officials said.
Reha, a 16-year department veteran from Bay Terrace, was taken to Staten Island University Hospital, where a source said he was in stable condition last night. (m, s)

* A Harlem woman was found stabbed to death yesterday in the hallway of her apartment building, police said.
Cops said Patricia Land, 54, is believed to be a victim of domestic violence, but would not give further details. She was stabbed several times in the torso shortly after 7:30 a.m. in the fifth floor hallway of the building at 150th Street and Macombs Place.
* A thief ripped off a Morningside Heights bank yesterday afternoon, police said.
The bandit, described by cops as a black woman in her 30s, walked into the Banco Popular branch at Broadway and 111th Street at 1:15 p.m., handed a teller a note and made off with $300.
