RICH Cronin has re signed as chief of GSN – cable’s game show network.
Cronin, who’s been at the network for more than six years, plans to leave at the end of the month. No successor has been named.
While at GSN, Cronin steered the network back from the brink of financial ruin and turned it into a profitable operation.
With Cronin at the helm, GSN’s programming was expanded to include the interactive game show “Lingo,” “World Series of Blackjack,” “High Stakes Poker” and the “National Vocabulary Championship.”
Cronin also helped turn the network’s Web site into a popular destination for gamers.
