As lap dances go, this was a marathon.
Two lucky johns spent 90 minutes trapped in locked, private booths – hiding with their topless, stripper “dates” – while vice cops raided Scores West earlier this year, according to police testimony at a Manhattan liquor-license hearing yesterday.
But the two cavorting couples were caught in the act anyway, a vice cop testified.
When the strip club’s deejay took the mike to give the “all clear” signal – telling patrons, “All right, guys! Back to business!” and resuming music – the cops doubled back, and pounded their fists on the doors of the booths.
“A female opened the door,” testified Detective John D’Onofrio of the Manhattan Vice Enforcement Squad.
“Was she wearing any clothes?” asked Administrative Law Judge Robert Karr. The judge, who works for the State Liquor Authority, is determining if Scores West, on West 27th Street, should lose its license for on-site prostitution.
“She was fully naked,” D’Onofrio said.
And her client “had his pants down around his ankles.”
Behind door number two, the cop found a topless woman and “a man who was pulling on his pants,” he told the judge.
“They said they were trained to give lap dances based on the number of songs,” D’Onofrio testified. “When they heard the music come back on, they thought they had to extend their lap dances.”
