A pregnant woman and two police officers in a patrol car were hurt when their cars collided in The Bronx yesterday, cops said.
“All I heard were [sirens blaring], then boom!” said security guard Milton Marrero, 34, who witnessed the accident at Metropolitan Avenue and Parkchester Road in Parkchester at 1:25 p.m.
Marrero, who called 911, said it appeared the officers had gotten a radio call and turned on their lights and sirens just before the crash. The woman, who was about 5 months pregnant, was conscious, he said.
The officers were responding to a domestic-dispute call, police said.
The victims, whose names were withheld, were all taken to Jacobi Hospital. All of the injuries were minor.
