SLAY RAP IN COP SHOOT

Now it’s murder.

A Brooklyn grand jury has returned first-degree murder indictments against three men charged in the cold-blooded killing of Police Officer Russell Timoshenko earlier this month, The Post has learned.

Sources close to the investigation said all three defendants, Lee Woods, 29, Dexter Bostic, 34, and Robert Ellis, 34, will be arraigned today on the new indictments before Supreme Court Justice Plummer Lott.

Lawyers for Woods and Ellis declined comment on news of their clients’ upgraded charges. Bostic’s lawyer did not return a message left at his office.

A spokesperson for Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes also declined to comment on what are, by law, confidential grand-jury matters.

The three accused killers have been behind bars without bail since their arrests.
