Former Mets teammates Ron Darling (right) and Darryl Strawberry reunite tonight (6:30) on SNY’s “Mets Hot Stove,” hosted by Kevin Burkhardt. They’ll discuss the MLB rumor mill (trades, etc.); the show re- airs tonight at 11.
Ch. 4 sportscaster Bruce Beck, meanwhile, emcees tonight’s party (at the Cutting Room) to celebrate Jets linebacker Victor Hobson’s annual Holiday Toy Drive, which this year benefits the children at Harlem’s North General Hospital. Hobson is expected to be joined by several of his Jets teammates.
In another Harlem-related note, “Law & Order: SVU” star Tamara Tunie will be at The Children’s Aid Society’s East Harlem Center today (10 a.m.) to help paint a mural that will be displayed outside of the kids’ tent during “Miracle on Madison Avenue,” a charity shopping event to support the CAS. “Miracle” takes place Dec. 2 (noon-5 p.m.), with about 100 Madison Avenue retailers donating 20 percent of the day’s sales to the CAS.
