The Amy Winehouse tour is done.
The singer, who reportedly was in rehab this year, was touring in the UK.
“The rigors involved in touring and the intense emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks have taken their toll,” Winehouse’s management company said in a statement, according to London’s The Sun. “In the interests of her health and well-being, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues.”
Winehouse has received accolades for her album “Back to Black,” but she also has created more headlines for her antics. She already had been booed off stage at one UK concert. Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is in custody until Jan. 18 after being accused of assaulting a pub landlord in June, the BBC reported.
In the statement from her management company, “Amy says, I can’t give it my all onstage without my Blake. I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly. I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”
