Rudy Giuliani could be grilled about law-breaking pal Bernie Kerik, 9/11, gay marriage – and even his backing of the hated Boston Red Sox, according to 5,000 questions submitted for tomorrow’s YouTube Republican presidential debate.
Some of the uploaded videos from citizens were cheeky and bizarre. But only a small number will be presented in the debate co-sponsored by CNN in St. Petersburg, Fla.
A man calling himself “Northern Georgia” looks lady-like, wearing a scarf on his head while cooking over a stove.
In his clip, he refers to Giuliani as the “cute little Mr. Giuliana” and promises him, “There will be entertainment.”
Then his voice deepens.
“Where do you stand on gun-owner rights? Ha, ha. I hope you’re with me on that one,” he said.
Students from Penn State submitted dozens of questions. Not all of them were scholarly.
“Mr. Giuliani, if you can be any kitchen appliance, what would you be and why?” Jeremy Zelaznuek asked.
Other videos are broadsides that accuse Giuliani of exploiting 9/11 for political and financial gain.
CNN will select questions from the thousands submitted that will be broadcast during the GOP face-off.
