Brooklyn Two Brownsville roommates were arrested after an argument turned violent, authorities said yesterday.

Ebony Cartwright, 27, allegedly clashed with Rachael Bailey, 22, in Cartwright’s Chauncey Street apartment near Howard Avenue at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Cartwright told cops Bailey started arguing with her and threatened her with a kitchen knife, sources said.

Cartwright admitted she wanted Bailey to leave and tossed Bailey’s belongings into the hallway.

Bailey told police Cartwright came home after staying out all night and started an argument, cops said. Bailey claimed Cartwright grabbed her by the hair, shoved her out of the apartment and locked her out.

A neighbor called police and the roomies were arrested on menacing and harassment charges.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a Brownsville teen.

Khadisha Nelson , 13, was last seen on Thatford Avenue near Riverdale Avenue at 7 a.m. on Nov. 28, cops said.

She stands 5-foot-5, weighs 167 pounds and has brown eyes, black hair and was sporting a black “Fubu” jacket and gray dress pants when she disappeared.

Police yesterday were investigating the bludgeoning death of a middle-aged man on an East New York street.

Cops responded at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to South Conduit Avenue near Forbell Street, where they discovered the 54-year-old unidentified man with head injuries.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Manhattan A man is being sought for robbing a Greenwich Village bank, cops said yesterday.

The man, wearing a full-length coat, dark sunglasses and a scarf, entered the Washington Mutual branch at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday. He slipped a teller a note demanding money, then fled with an unspecified amount of cash.

Two pimps were busted for offering the services of prostitutes to an undercover cop at a Lower East Side brothel, authorities said yesterday.

Gaefu Zheng, 53, and Goubing Liu, 50, were arrested Tuesday on charges of promoting prostitution, a DA’s spokeswoman said.

At 6:20 p.m. that day, the undercover allegedly entered an East Broadway building near Pike Street and was approached by the suspects.

Zheng asked, “Have you ever been here before?” and the undercover answered yes as he stepped into the vestibule, sources said.

The pimps then offered two hookers for $35 each, prompting the cop to signal for back-up cops to make the arrest.

A woman was arrested for swiping $8,000 in jewelry from her mother’s Alphabet City apartment, authorities said yesterday.

Mariela Astacio, 23, allegedly swiped her mother’s jewelry box in the victim’s East 12th Street apartment near Avenue A at 3 p.m. on Oct. 8.

The mother spotted Astacio leaving with a bulge under her clothes, cops said.

Astacio allegedly pawned the contents of the box, which included watches and earrings.

The victim called cops and Astacio was arrested Tuesday on charges of grand larceny.

Two people were found dead in their Queens apartment yesterday in what investigators are calling a murder-suicide, authorities said.

The man and woman, who were not identified by police, were found last night in a fifth-floor apartment at 139-81 35th Ave. near Northern Boulevard in Flushing.

Investigators believe the man may have choked the woman to death, then stabbed himself, police sources said.

Queens An NYPD sergeant was arrested and suspended from the force after he was caught stealing at a Flushing department store, authorities said yesterday.

Sgt. Jack Ren, of the 112th Precinct, entered the Macy’s on Roosevelt Avenue near Main Street at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and took unspecified property, sources said.

A witness alerted police, who nabbed Ren after he left the store.

Ren was charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. He received a desk-appearance ticket, requiring him to appear in court within 30 days.

Staten Island Three men in a car were arrested after a tipster spotted them handling a loaded firearm in Park Hill, authorities said yesterday.

Police responded to Park Hill Lane near Fairway Avenue and approached the hooded men seated in a black BMW at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, sources said.

The officers ordered the trio out of the vehicle and recovered a Glock from a backpack in the back seat.

Javed Walters, 23, Samir Hamoud, 19, and Dane Munroe, 22, were charged with weapon possession, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.

A drunken motorist was nabbed after cops stopped him for failing to signal a turn in Rossville, authorities said yesterday.

John Geddis, 41, was driving a 1992 Ford Explorer at Veterans Road East and Bloomingdale Road at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday when police pulled him over and smelled alcohol on his breath, sources said.

Geddis failed a Breathalyzer test and was charged with DWI, the DA’s spokesman said.
