Welcome to the Fantasy Tracker radio matchmaker line.
Today weâre helping coaches and players navigate through this weekâs fantasy playoff matchups. First up is Frank Gore in San Francisco. Go ahead Frank.
FRANK: Thanks for taking my call. Do you think Iâll ever find an opponent that allows me to show off my talents?
TRACKER: Absolutely, Frank. In fact, we think the date you have this week with Cincy will work out just fine.
Weâve got Lee Evans in Buffalo. Lee, thanks for calling.
LEE: Yeah, hi. I was wondering if me and Trent Edwards have as good a connection as me and J.P. Losman?
TRACKER: By our calculations, Lee, your connection with J.P. wasnât doing so well. We think you and Trent work just as well together, if not better â especially this week vs. the Browns. Everybody gets action vs. the Browns.
Next up is Shaun from Seattle.
SHAUN: You may remember me. Iâm Shaun Alexander and I used to be a great running back, but now Iâm scared to hit the line. Do you think the Panthers defense will be nice to me this week?
TRACKER: Good news Shaun. The Panthersâ offense is so bad, by the second half, the defense is more lifeless than you are. In the battle of timid vs. tired, your timid will score enough to warrant a starting spot on most fantasy rosters.
Now we have Lavernaris Coles from the Big Apple. Go ahead Levarnious.
COLES: Itâs Laveraneus.
TRACKER: Sorry. Laveranues Coles, go ahead.
COLES: Thanks. I know weâve got a bad date planned vs. the Patriots, but do you think I can at least get to first base in fantasy points?
TRACKER: We figure your Jets will spend most of the day trying desperately to avoid embarrassment, and that should take a lot of points. Therefore, we envision a lot of passing. So we think you, fellow WR Jerricho Cotchery and QB Kellen Clemens will post some pretty stats on an otherwise ugly afternoon.
This weekâs Survivor pick: Seattle over Carolina. Last weekâs pick: Jacksonville over Carolina. Record: 13-1.
