RE-ENABLED RIDERS

Drivers for the disabled will return to work today after a 10-day strike.

Service was expected to be at 80 percent today as the Access-A-Ride service goes back into operation, transit officials said.

“The contract achieved significant goals for all of our members in terms of compensation, health care and the length of the contract,” said drivers-union head Tommy Mullins.
