TERRROR + LIBERALS = SICK JOKE

THE ISSUE: The country’s partisan divide over the War on Terror.

Jonah Goldberg’s article, “Liberals and Terror” (PostOpinion, Dec. 15), is marvelous.

It further brings to light what most non-liberals understand: the hypocrisy of the liberal left.

Since the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks was waterboarded, at least a dozen terrorist plots have been stopped, due to the information extracted by this process.

The left always has opinions based on convenience and political correctness. We cannot be politically correct when fighting an enemy that is sworn to destroy us.

When the liberals admit this, it will be easier for us to win. Unfortunately, it probably will never happen, as they have their own agenda, and it is not for the good of this country.

The liberal media, including most of the printed press, network TV and some cable news outlets, should be ashamed of themselves for aiding and abetting the Democrats – a political party that has become a very, very sick joke.

Let’s face it: The congressional hippies in the new millennium will not sway the constancy of middle America. Thank God.

Bring on the Pelosis, Reids, wolves in sheep’s clothes like the Clintons, the Obamas, fringe advocates and the rest of the faux-French, underground intellects.

America can’t afford to sit and wait for the enemy while it collects and develops its delivery of terror.

We are a country of adults with life experience, not sanitized Hollywood films and sound bytes.
