Three Harlem men were arrested in connection with the death of a Brooklyn man who died after they detained him for urinating in their building, cops said.
Superintendent Roger McFarland, 41, allegedly caught the 33-year-old victim, Shamod Murray, relieving himself in the Lenox Avenue building’s lobby at 8:05 p.m. Friday.
McFarland allegedly began arguing with Murray – whose listed address is a men’s shelter on Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn – and two building residents, brothers Dean, 45, and Stephan Fuller, 37, joined in. The trio allegedly tied Murray up and called 911.
When cops arrived, McFarland and the Fullers were outside and Murray was dead.
McFarland and the Fullers were charged with manslaughter.
Police refused to reveal details about the killing, including how they believe Murray died, but he had a laceration on his forehead.
