David Wright just hit his 100th career home run, drilling a solo shot to deep left-center in the bottom of the first off the Brewers’ Jeff Suppan. It was also Wright’s second home run in as many at-bats dating to Saturday’s 5-3 loss, when he went yard in the eighth inning off Ben Sheets.
Wright’s homer cut the Mets deficit to 2-1 after Gabe Kapler hit a two-run shot off Oliver Perez in the top of the first.
