Tierney: ‘Let Me Die!’ Well, not really, but Maura Tierneywould like to see “ER” writers kill off her TV alter ego, Dr. Abby Lockhart, as “ER” enters its 15th and final season this fall. “I want them to kill me. And they won’t,” Tierney tells AOL Television. “They refused to kill Abby. But, no, I totally trust [the writers].”
Tierney says she’ll appear on “a few” epi sodes next season. “I had a really great time there but it’s been al most a dec ade,” she says, “and part of me is ready to move on – but part of me is going to be very sad about it.” * * *
