An ambulette driver with a suspended license fatally struck a young teenage boy crossing a Brooklyn street yesterday, police said.
Rich Lamont, 13, was crossing Clarkson Avenue in East Flatbush when he was rammed by the 2005 Ford at around 5 p.m., cops said.
He died at the scene.
The driver, Carl Neblett, 33, who lives less than a block from the scene, waited for police. He was charged with driving with a suspended license.
Neblett’s license has been suspended seven times since 2003, mostly for failing to answer summonses or pay fines, according to DMV records.
The ambulette, registered to Professional Transportation Corp. in Glen Cove, LI, carried no patient at the time, police said.
