If I could have only one wish, it would be for Ralph Peters to become secretary of State. His common-sense approach to the killing of terrorists is right on point (“Don’t Catch – Kill,” PostOpinion, June 24).
The terrorists expect to be killed in service to Allah. Why disappoint them?

Peters begins his column by attacking the liberals for not wanting to kill terrorists. Yet, by the time he’s halfway through, he’s giving those terrorists the chance to live by just raising their hands and surrendering.
Which way do you want to proceed? Your way – not killing them on the spot – leads to the same dilemma that exists now.
What was the point of the article? Peters seems to be as confused and conflicted as the rest of America when it comes to the subject of captured terrorists.

Peters is correct for the umpteenth time.
Didn’t we violate our rules during World War II by using the atom bomb? We did it to save lives, and today Japan is one of our top allies.
Justice will be served if we kill Osama bin Laden and not allow lawyers to garner millions by defending so-called human beings.
Sure, the economy, oil, environment and food are important. But what good will these items be if we are struck with a nuclear bomb?
