As his life unraveled, suicidal scientist Bruce Ivins revealed an obsession for sorority-girl-turned-reality-TV star Kathryn Price.
Just days before he was hospitalized on July 10 for making “homicidal threats,” the alleged anthrax mailer went on a Greek-life online forum to learn to which sorority “The Mole” actress belonged.
Meanwhile, a YouTube user named “bruceivi,” who was the same age as Ivins, scripted a grisly fantasy in which the brunette Price is killed.
On July 7, under the moniker “goldenphoenix,” Ivins posted this query on GreekChat: “Kathryn Price, who starred in ‘The Mole,’ was in a sorority at Kansas University. Could somebody please tell me what she was in? Thanks!!!”
A TV producer, actress and screenwriter, Price, 36, starred in the 2001 debut season of “The Mole.”
