Actor Robert Funaro hosts a benefit tomorrow at the Gotham Comedy Club for co median Chris Murphy, who’s been stricken with can cer. Comedy Central’s Dave Attell and ‘KTU’s Goumba Johnny are expected.
Johnny will also emcee the “Stars & Ci gars Gala” Sept. 16 at The Van derbilt on Staten Is land. The event will benefit Bright Steps Forward, which helps kids with cere bral palsy, autism and trau matic brain injuries. Joe Gan nascoli is the organization’s national spokesperson; he’ll be joined at The Vanderbilt by his former “Sopranos” co- stars Frank Vincent, Do minic Chianese and Max Casella along with a bevy of stars including Robin Quiv ers, Donna Murphy and ex- Giant Harry Carson.
