GRELLER, 30, AND BLUMBERG, 32

July 27 – Kandace Blumberg and Mark Greller received a lesson in love four years ago, when they met at PS 154 in Brooklyn. The Cobble Hill duo, both elementary school teachers, then enjoyed an official first date that included walking over the Brooklyn Bridge for a stop at Grimaldi’s famous pizzeria. “It was during Passover, but we got so distracted with each other that we ate pizza!” says the bride. Three years after their pizza faux pas, Greller popped the question at the couple’s favorite restaurant, Po. Blumberg and Greller wed at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, which feature an urban oasis of more than 10,000 different kinds of plants from around the world. Rain put a damper on their plans for a garden wedding, but a ceremony and reception in the Palm House, a beautiful glass building, did not disappoint. “I’m looking forward to a life filled with wonderful music, lots of laughs and our future children!” says Blumberg.
