July 26 – In March 2007, Carissa Mignerey felt like a little girl all over again when Jeremy Taffel proposed on a snow-covered beach in Stony Brook, LI. “He proposed on my birthday at my childhood beach, which is a 10-minute walk from my parents’ house,” says Mignerey, who manages Edelman, Krasin & Jaye Pllc in Carle Place. Taffel, a high school social studies teacher in Queens, wed his bride at Long Island’s West Sayville Country Club, where 85 guests joined them in celebration.
