CAR SLAMS INTO 11-YEAR-OLD BOY ON BICYCLE

An 11-year-old Queens boy was fighting for his life today

after he was accidentally run down while riding his bike – as his little sister looked on in horror, cops said.

Osam Naveed and his 8-year-old sister had grabbed a late breakfast at a nearby sandwich shop and were pedaling home on Hillside Avenue when they crossed Little Neck Parkway in Floral Park at around 1 p.m., authorities said.

Suddenly, Osam was hit by a red Mercedes Benz that had the right of way, police at the scene said.

The unidentified driver stayed at the scene.

The boy’s sister, Iman, was riding on her own bike just a few feet away but was not hurt, the family said. The siblings also have a year-old brother.

“[Their] mom is crying still – he’s their first child,” a devastated uncle, Rizwan Baig, 45, said outside Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where Osam was in critical condition with massive head injuries.

“He loved riding bikes . . . He was very good in school.”

Osam’s bike was still behind police tape in the intersection hours after the crash, and his black flip-flops were strewn several feet away.

“It appears the motorist had the right of way,” an officer at the scene said. “It’s not an accident-prone location.”

Osam’s day began innocently enough, with him telling his mom that he was going out to grab a sandwich, the uncle said.

“He was asking his mom for breakfast, and he said he’d go get some Subway,” Baig said.

“He went there, and when he was coming back, he got hit by the car.”

Cops ruled the crash an accident.

The Jericho, LI, driver did not return messages seeking comments.
