June 22 – To Lakeya McCorkle, Ricardo Michel was her Prince Charming. So it was only appropriate that their wedding be something of a fairytale. To start, McCorkle, an assistant director for the University Settlement Society of New York, arrived at Long Island’s Chateau Briand in a carriage heralded by trumpeters. But no Cinderella story would be complete without an actual glass slipper, which Michel, a doorman on the Upper East Side, presented to his bride before thier 200 guests.
