MANHATTAN

* An aspiring male model miraculously survived a shot to the back of the head early yesterday in a Harlem robbery when the bullet grazed him.

Donald Carmichael, 23, who relatives said has done some modeling for clothing lines and magazines, was coming home from a club and opening the door to his building on West 131st Street at 4:30 a.m. when someone ambushed him from behind.

The attacker took Carmichael’s cellphone, cash, wallet, watch, belt and shoes before firing a single shot.

Carmichael, who was treated at Harlem Hospital and released, declined to comment.

A relative said Carmichael’s uncle was shot and killed in a 2005 robbery in the same spot.

BROOKLYN

* A teen boy and two men were wounded when gunfire erupted outside an East New York housing project Friday night.

Cops said a large fight broke out on the grounds of the Howard Avenue-Park Place Houses, shortly after 10 p.m. and spilled out onto Sterling Place near Howard Avenue when a gunman opened fire.

Cops found two men wounded. One, 21 years old, had been shot in the arm and the other, also 21, in the buttocks, cops said.

A short time later, a 15-year-old boy walked into Brookdale Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg apparently from the same attack. Police did not disclose a motive for the gunplay.

THE BRONX

* Police are hunting for a gunman who killed a man in Brownsville late Friday.

Daquane Shelton, 27, was gunned down near his home on Hull Street near Rockaway Avenue shortly after 11 p.m., cops said. He had been shot in the head, chest and leg.

He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he died.

Shelton has several prior arrests and had been paroled in 2005 after serving 11 years for a robbery conviction.

Two men were arrested after they showed up at La Guardia Airport and tried to check in illegal handguns, cops said.

Ali Teimouri, 22, was collared Tuesday after he surrendered an unloaded 9 mm handgun to a ticket agent before attempting to board a flight at the Delta terminal shortly after 6 a.m.

The agent called cops and he was arrested. Teimouri told authorities he had bought the gun in Florida but he could not provide them with a valid license, sources said.

Wednesday, a Montana man was busted after a .22 caliber Derringer handgun was found in his luggage during a routine pre-flight check at the Northwest terminal.

Cesare Carbone, 49, told authorities he had been visiting the city for the past six days and confessed that he did not have a valid permit for the weapon.

Both men were charged with weapon possession.

Police were questioning a woman after her husband was found stabbed to death in their Mount Eden apartment.

Police were called to a fight inside a sixth-floor apartment on Macombs Road near Goble Place shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, and found Tyree Reid, 35, with a single stab wound to the chest.

Cops also found a bloody weapon. The victim was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, where he died.

The wife was taken into custody and was being questioned yesterday.

Cops said the couple had a long history of domestic-related issues in the past.
