Oprah Winfrey has, yet again, demonstrated her complete disconnect with the average person (“The Oprah Syndrome,” PostScript, Jan. 25).
Apparently, in her world, everyone should stop everything and share her grief and frustration at gaining weight.
We’re all too busy trying to keep our homes, pay our bills and recoup our stock losses.
Someone should tell Oprah how it feels to learn about all of her real-estate holdings, helicopters, private jets and yearly income and remind her that all of it is for one person.
Imagine how much good could be done with that money?
